About Melovitten
Melovitten AS is a Norwegian company for music production, located in Vågå in the valley of Gudbrandsdalen. We are a record label publishing music in the genre of Norwegian folk music. Our company were established in 2021.
The word "Melovitten" is a local term for an old dance similar to menuett, as well as many local melodies are called "melovitt".
Melovitten consists of Bjørn Kåre Odde (CEO/artistic director) and Solveig Brekke Hauknes (chairman of the board/producer).
